Cloud Telephony.
And much more.

For the first time in history, an advanced NG911 solution that is able to aggregate data, rich media, and audio, funnel it into a single platform, and from the same platform distribute that information outward to first responders, hospitals, municipalities and more.

The Challenge

The Challenge

Information Overload

Telecommunicators are faced with a massive flow of information across multiple operating systems. Having to process input from too many channels and too many screens, reduces their work flexibility, increases response time, and decreases efficiency.

The Solution

The Solution

A Unified Platform

Carbyne’s c-Live Apex is the world’s only cloud native solution that unifies the flow of live-saving information into one platform and from that platform enables ECCs to share and distribute information with first responders, municipalities other ECCs and more.

The c-Live Apex infrastructure includes all the built-in features of the Universe+ (excluding individually priced items) and, introduces a powerful cloud native telephony infrastructure by Cisco that includes Cisco’s Unified Contact Center and Unified Contact Manager.

NG 911 Requires NG Infrastructure

Carbyne has taken a future-forward approach to our telephony infrastructure by building our solutions on Cisco’s best-in-breed Unified Communications platforms. The Carbyne Cisco infrastructure ensures that all calls to your emergency call centers will not be dropped in the event of a call path failure within the Carbyne network.

This is achieved by a hierarchical peering model that allows for the call path to be re-established to the call taker. Each component in the telephony call path secures the successful transition of the call to the next peer.

Speech to Text

In an emergency call center, every second counts. Reducing the redundancy in operations and the intense multitasking clears the telecommuters to focus on the caller and first responders and provide the ability to dispatch faster. Speech-to-text enables the telecommunicators to keep their eyes on the incident rather than the keyboard.

Incident Conferencing

It is the nature of work at an emergency call center that telecommunicators often need to share their incident with peers, dispatchers, or directors in order to effectively manage an incident. Rather than hovering over each other’s shoulders or screaming across the room, the Incident Conferencing feature enables two c-Live work stations to share their information. The call-taker that needs to access additional information for any live event – such as to gain access to the location, video, and chat discussion – just selects the call they want to join. This will immediately orient the map on their workstation to that particular incident location and make the video and chat available to their workstation.

First Responders Connection

c-Live is the only platform in the world that enables telecommunicators to connect first responders to a live video chat, instant messaging with a caller and share the caller’s exact location from the same platform. The Responders Connection on c-Live provides medics, firefighters and law enforcement officers with better situational awareness. So, as they enter the scene, they are fully prepared and ready to address the situation. Therefore,  it dramatically increases their safety, improves response efficiency, and provides faster and better care for the citizens at risk.

City IoT Interface

Many cities have made large investments in smart city technology, making a great deal of ancillary information possibly available. Usually, there is so much information that it is difficult to distill the potentially relevant pieces that might be helpful during an emergency. Using Carbyne’s Location Services, the relevant sensors can be shown in the c-Live Universe+ or c-Live Apex maps. The red dots that appear near the caller location shows available city cameras. Clicking on the red dot(s) will launch a sensor feed window(s)
