We’re on the search for a Director of Content in New York City to help elevate the Carbyne story and bring our content to the next level. In this role, you’ll focus heavily on digital marketing - primarily social media, email campaigns, sales enablement, and content distribution. Reporting to our Senior Marketing Director, you’ll collaborate with several departments across Carbyne on product development, operational updates, news releases and more. Our ideal candidate is equal parts strategic and hands-on, as you’ll spend time both developing the strategy behind Carbyne’s content initiatives, and implementing these strategies yourself by writing copy, developing email marketing, and crafting social media content.

Here’s what you’ll be working on:

  • Lead development and writing of compelling, cutting-edge content
  • Manage strategy, creation, and copywriting for our social channels, newsletters, and blog
  • Translate technical concepts into descriptive, readable, compelling content
  • Work closely with relevant sales teams on event development, including key themes, materials, and digital marketing needs
  • Work with design, marketing, and UX teams to create compelling marketing collateral
  • Develop a comprehensive content calendar to support the company’s brand marketing needs
  • Work with the Head of Marketing to ideate key strategic objectives and create campaign calendar for customer acquisition, adoption and usage of Carbyne solutions
  • Support ongoing department needs including assets production, conference preparations and more
  • 5+ years of experience working in a content role or other relevant position
  • Experience building social media strategy and writing social media copy
  • Proven ability to build strategic decks and present them effectively
  • A strong portfolio of blog writing, and experience in content distribution
  • A natural-born storyteller
  • Strong communications skills

Bonus points for:

  • Experience working in paid social media advertising
