Director of Content | Carbyne
Description

Carbyne is seeking a Director of Content to support its marketing efforts with a focus on digital marketing - primarily social media, e-mail automation and sales enablement content development. This individual will be part of the U.S marketing team but will provide support on global initiatives as needed.

As part of this position, the Director of Content is expected to collaborate with the various departments at Carbyne in order to be knowledgeable of product development, operational updates, news releases and more. This individual should be comfortable working in a fast-paced technical environment. Some travel may be required.

The position reports to Carbyne’s Senior Marketing Director.

Based in our New-York office.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead development of compelling, cutting-edge content solutions for an industry-leading company. 
  2. Manage all creation and strategy for our social channels, newsletters, blog and more.
  3. Translate technical concepts into descriptive, readable, compelling content
  4. Work closely with relevant sales teams on events development including key themes, materials and digital marketing needs.
  5. Work with Design, Marketing, and UX teams to create compelling marketing collateral
  6. Develop a comprehensive content calendar to support the company’s brand marketing needs.
  7. Work with the Senior Director of Marketing to ideate key strategic objectives and create campaign calendar for customer acquisition, adoption and usage of Carbyne solutions
  8. Support ongoing department needs including assets production, conference preparations and more

Requirements
  1. 5+ years of experience in content strategy and content execution/production
  2. Proven ability to effortlessly flex and bend your tone to support any product or brand
  3. Consistently innovate creative marketing approaches to drive engaging content across all digital and social channels
  4. Design and execute content calendars to support different department initiatives and communications channels.
  5. Create narratives around Carbyne’s content to support sales and marketing strategies and drive engagement.
  6. Expert knowledge of social media channels including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube 
  7. Proven success in translating creative ideas and product materials into engaging customer-facing content.
  8. Exceptional organization and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment
  9. Strong creative writing and storytelling capabilities
