VP HR | Carbyne
Description

Reporting to our Chief Operating Officer & GM Israel, Carbyne’s Tel Aviv-based VP of HR will be responsible for all aspects of the People function in Israel, including recruiting, employee relations, and HR operations. This person will be a key member of our leadership team and work cross-functionally to help drive HR strategy and implementation. We’re looking for someone with deep experience working for global technology companies and a passion for working in high-growth, fun company cultures.


What You'll Do

  1. Build a world-class recruiting function that partners with local management and scales to support the needs of a rapidly growing, high tech organization
  2. Oversee Learning & Development initiatives locally that empower our managers and leaders to become more effective
  3. Act as a thought partner on matters of talent, succession, people development, and retention
  4. Implement more data-driven, analytical processes that will enable Carbyne to better align our People practices to broader business objectives, i.e. rolling out a new global HRIS and then leveraging People Analytics tools, creating scalable recruiting processes that build our internal team’s capabilities, etc.
  5. Facilitate organizational development through change management as our company continues to grow and scale globally. We’d love your help creating global policies and processes that are aligned with US and global policies, but appropriate for a TLV-based employee group
  6. Support our TLV-based GM in various HR-related tasks

Requirements
  1. Strong interpersonal skills and comfort connecting with people at all levels of our organization
  2. Passion working with Israeli engineers and experience scaling tech teams from 50+ to 300+
  3. Deep understanding about how to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, global environment while crafting solutions that work globally
  4. Experience being both strategic, as well as hands-on and tactical
  5. An excitement and aptitude for using data to make recommendations and decisions
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills that are cross-cultural (Israeli & American)
  7. A can-do attitude that’s positive, problem-solving-focused, and empathetic


What Will Set You Apart

  1. 10+ years of progressive HR or People Ops leadership experience in a rapidly-growing, high-tech, global company
  2. If you’ve helped companies bridge the cultural and communication differences between Israel and the US, that would be great to know in the interview process
  3. Experience implementing compensation and leveling in Israel and other regions as part of a global company
  4. Strong thought leadership and demonstrated success utilizing HR best practices
  5. A strong HR network
