The Head of Product will be responsible for evolving Carbyne’s current and future product suite. This individual will collaboratively set the direction of, and manage, a validated product plan strategy and delivery for all of Carbyne business verticals. The Head of Product will work closely with software development, sales, marketing and technical support to ensure product milestones, launch plans and customer satisfaction (both internal and external) goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owns Carbyne's Product life cycle 
  • Establish a roadmap that aligns with business growth, customer needs and overall technology strategy.
  • Develop deep expertise of Carbyne’s data platforms and drive that product strategy aligning it with client needs, market opportunity and product team roadmaps.
  • Use deep analysis of user needs to develop creative strategies for the product and align the technology organization to those strategies.
  • Collaborate across teams to effectively communicate product strategic plans to internal stakeholders, manage feedback and adjust priorities appropriately. Specifically, this individual will work closely with the CTO and technology team to ensure product and technology strategy are aligned.
  • Develop staff with a focus on increasing the team's product management skills.

  • Up to 15+ years of experience in Technical Product Management, preferably in a B2B Software SaaS business. Experience in GovTech - Bonus.
  • Demonstrated success with managing multiple technical product life cycles or projects including definition and management of microservices, RESTful APIs, analytics, Data Lakes, Machine Learning/NLP frameworks.
  • Experience interpreting market trends, customer needs and workflows, and various delivery models.
  • Experience leading deeply technical product plans and aligning business strategy and technology delivery.
  • Strong strategic thinker.
  • Experience in driving and achieving operational excellence and delivering results, and measuring efforts against goals.
  • Ability to work effectively with both a deeply technical and product management team as a lead organizer and influencer.
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking, resolving competing priorities and meeting project deadlines. Experience in communicating vision, operating budgets, product roadmaps, and market analysis to Board, CEO, CFO, COO and CTO.
  • Excellent leadership skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
