Your Impact

 

As a Strategic Account Executive at Carbyne, you will sell Carbyne’s life-saving platform to Public Safety agencies (working closely with our channels and partners). You will have the ability to articulate complex solutions, build and maintain Senior-level relationships, and navigate across customer various decision-makers shaping solutions to agency and stakeholder challenges, serving as their trusted advisor and change agent.

Your Day to Day:

  1. Engage clients through established and created relationships, building trust and enabling clients to benefit from the Carbyne platform and services.
  2. Develop and maintain senior and executive-level client relationships to ultimately drive revenue growth
  3. Responsible for developing and managing respective territory growth, aligning agency and user needs with Carbyne solutions and services to gain market share and grow revenues
  4. Ensure customer voice is clearly heard - Carbyne is the voice of the customer and must advocate change at the industry level accordingly and on their behalf
  5. Develop and execute account strategy with the team to deliver stronger value propositions, align best-value and ROI for clients based on needs and key challenges
  6. Drive key account capture and planning process, from inception through close as well as supporting peers in their respective initiatives - the OneCarbyne team model
  7. Oversee all territory account activities from prospecting and research to closing the deal and connecting the customer with professional services if applicable
  8. Responsible for forecasting, keeping management in touch with accounts in a timely fashion and gathering intelligence on competitor activity
Requirements
  1. At least 10 years of demonstrated successful Public Safety industry sales and/or consulting with focus on software, services, platform integration and/or network services (SaaS and cloud experience a plus)
  2. Existing and proven relationships with Senior decision-makers within the designated territory- State level and relevant agency stakeholders.
  3. Understanding of PSAP and stakeholder agency technology and service requirements (NG9-1-1)
  4. Proven experience in managing/ owning territory for sales and/or consulting engagements
  5. Experience with creating and executing long-term sales plans
  6. Able to clearly and directly articulate complex solution offerings
  7. Strong technical orientation 
  8. Self-motivated with a can-do approach - “create the solution” philosophy
  9. Strong attention to detail, creative, open-minded, focused and highly collaborative
  10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  11. Ability to travel to customers as needed (up to 70% of the time)
