About the role

Carbyne is on the hunt for a Sales Operations Manager to join our growing sales team. In this role, you'll support the sales team throughout the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation through contract signing to accelerate the growth of the Carbyne platform. The position requires a data-driven approach to understanding the end user, buyer, and global public safety market ecosystem, in order to optimize and improve sales efficiency.

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for supporting our sales team and building processes across all aspects of lead generation, deal flow, contracting, sales analysis, and sales enablement. 

 

Here’s what you’ll be working on:

  1. Help build systems, reports, and processes to measure metrics and KPIs
  2. Maintain internal knowledge bases used by the sales team
  3. Use best practices already established by Carbyne to ensure the accuracy of this data
  4. Report any discrepancies, issues, or changes that need to be made to the data/system
  5. Collaborate with internal resources to ensure reports are translated into actions, and results are monitored
  6. Support our sales, legal, and finance teams throughout the entire sales life cycle, including sales collateral preparation, contract preparation and review, purchase order management, and more
  7. Work closely with the CSM and the sales teams on client requests and inquiries
  8. Continually seek opportunities for improving team performance through thoughtful examination of processes, technology systems/tools, and personnel


Requirements
  1. 4+ years of successful sales operations experience (public safety/public sector government sales experience is a big plus)
  2. Experience with configuration and administration of Salesforce, and comfortable working with Salesforce flows, formulas, custom views, reports and dashboards
  3. Experience with purchase order, contract management, and proposal management 
  4. High proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, fluency in Google applications and project management tools 
  5. Meticulous organizational skills and the capacity to manage many leads and opportunities
  6. Experience working with complex data sets and deriving insights with great attention to detail
  7. The ability to adapt to and thrive in a rapidly changing early-stage startup environment
  8. Proactive, loves to help others, and excited by getting things done
  9. Good communication and interpersonal skills
  10. Passion for supporting law enforcement, first responders, and other government agencies
