Remote Government

Around the world, federal governments are preparing for an unprecedented reality as millions of federal workers are likely to be required to work from home. As the coronavirus spreads, it will force government agencies and authorities to switch to telework. The challenge is to quickly find a solution that will seamlessly enable authorities to remotely communicate with the public, protect citizens’ privacy, security with cyber protection by design, so that all communications will be secure and safe from cyber security attacks.

2. Data Security

Carbyne’s platform is hosted on the most secure government-grade approved cloud environments provided by Amazon and Microsoft. All access to data that is used by the government or government employees is strictly accessible and owned by the government. Carbyne is merely a gateway to provide communication accessibility.

In addition, the government can enable certain employees to have access to richer data on the platform while providing others with more basic operation tools. Thus, keeping confidentiality internal as well.

3. Effective Communications

Carbyne’s live video chat capability and instant messaging enables government employees to fully connect with a caller and provide faster and better solutions since the communication channels are far clearer than just an audio call. In addition, the one-sided live video (only the government employee can see the caller with their approval, not the other way around) enables the government employee to visually verify callers, review documents, and provide instructions easily.

The instant chat feature enables government employees to communicate effectively with those who are hard of hearing and those who are too ill to speak.

4. Call History

As government employees are now required to work remotely and in less optimized environments, data storage is crucial. Carbyne’s call history feature enables unlimited storage of notes, caller profiles, video sessions, chats archive, and location mapping. This enables authorities to backtrack necessary information. In addition, the call history feature enables authorities to instantly analyze call volumes by location so they can better strategize distribution of resources.

5. Citizens and Employee Privacy

Communications through Carbyne’s platform are always initiated by the government employee and each session is independently approved by the caller. At no point is information accessed without user approval. When a session is terminated, so is Carbyne’s and the government employee’s access to that callers’ mobile device.
